This
air-conditioned, double-storey complex is
both a duty-free shopping mall and the main entry
point by sea to Langkawi from Kuala Perlis,
Kuala Kedah and Penang. The ground floor
shops feature small shops selling jewellery,
eye-wear, time pieces, cameras, souvenirs,
chocolates, apparel and shoes. A restaurant, Hameed's, serving Indian-Muslim cuisine is a
popular hangout for many travellers and
locals before taking the ferry to the
mainland or Penang. A bowling
centre (Ampang Bowl) takes up most of
the upper level. There is a Starbucks Coffee
outlet with free Wi-Fi access. A Watson's store is also
located within the complex but without a
pharmacy. A Kentucky Fried
Chicken outlet takes up the inner corner lot
right opposite Starbucks.
