Langkawi offers
three golf courses if you just cant resist
to urge to hit the
green even on a paradise of an island like
this. All three are open to the public, with
each located conveniently close to wherever
you may be.

The Golf
Club Datai Bay is a public course
located on the west of the island
between Gunung Mat Chinchang and the
Andaman Sea. It offers the unique
experience of playing in a course
carved out of virgin jungle that is
both scenic and challenging. Hole 15
(par 3) is the most interesting,
while hole 16 (par 4) is the most
beautiful. The course is part of the
Datai Resort.

The
clubhouse of the Langkawi Golf Course
affords a commanding view of the
sweeping bay in the distance. This is the first golf
club in Langkawi with an 18-hole,
72-par course. A mature course that
is not too challenging, it is mostly
frequented by local golfers due to
its proximity to Kuah town.
Facilities include buggies, a
restaurant, a pro shop, locker rooms
and a driving range.

currently closed for upgrading
works.
